The Pine Center for the Arts has a long tradition of transforming our space into the “Snowflake Gallery” in the weeks leading up to Christmas. The idea behind this event was not to display an exhibit filled with a variety of snowflake themed art… but rather to create an exhibit (and selling opportunity) for local artists during the busy holiday shopping season. The “Snowflake Gallery” is a collaboration of various artists, mediums, and styles to create an exhibit where no two items are alike – much like that of a snowflake.
Local artists are invited to take part in the Snowflake Gallery.
The Snowflake Gallery opens Friday, November 30 and runs until Friday, December 21. Â
Saturday, December 1 is Holiday Madness in Pine City and Friday, December 14 is the Art Center Holiday Party from 4-7 pm. These are two events that draw in a large number of community members and we would encourage our artists to invite family and friends to these events where your art will be on display for sale. Our regular Gallery hours are Wednesday-Friday, 3-6 pm.
