Adult Intro/Beginner Sewing Classes

Learn to sew or take a refresher in this fun, interactive, self-paced 3-week course. Beginning Wednesday February 12 from 6:30-8:30 pm, you will have the opportunity to learn and practice skills that will last a lifetime! This is a flexible course and sessions need not be taken consecutively. Upon registration, you will be contacted to determine your particular start date and provided additional information.
Learn how to or refresh your skills in operating a sewing machine and practice basic sewing skills through completing 2 projects*: pillowcase & drawstring bag.
This is an introduction and skill-building class, as opposed to the sewing machine quick start class. How to select the best needle & thread for a given project and how to compile a beginner’s sewing tools & notions box will be covered.
Join instructor Renee Bonjes who brings over 30 years of professional dressmaking, fitting, alterations, and pattern design experience to her students. Renee is formally trained and certified in both dress and pattern making.

Class Times: 4:00 pm-6:00 pm
Fee: $65 for 3 sessions (Payment in full required prior to first session)
Sewing machines and irons provided on site – or bring your own
